eXp ShowGo Showing Fees and Access

By The Housing Current Editorial TeamOctober 12, 20262 min read

Understand eXp ShowGo showing fees, who can access assignments, how open-house coverage differs, and which payment terms to confirm before accepting.

eXp ShowGo showing fees are optional and set by the posting agent; open-house coverage is volunteer, according to eXp’s October 8, 2026 announcement. Before accepting an assignment, confirm its scope, time commitment and payment terms. The posted amount alone does not tell you whether the work is worthwhile.

Who can access eXp ShowGo?

At the October 8 announcement, eXp said ShowGo was available exclusively to its agents in the United States and Canada through HUB, on web and desktop with mobile-friendly access. The release describes availability at announcement; it does not establish when access first began.

Start in HUB and check opportunities relevant to your location. Platform access and finding a suitable assignment are separate questions. Do not promise a client coverage until another agent has confirmed it.

Evaluate showing fees against the whole assignment

For a showing, clarify whether the fee covers one property or several, how long you are expected to remain, and what preparation and reporting are included. Account for travel, parking and coordination when deciding whether to accept. Posting agents should specify these details before seeking coverage so both agents evaluate the same work.

Hypothetical example: A U.S. assignment offering US$60 takes 30 minutes at the property, an hour of round-trip travel and 30 minutes of preparation and follow-up. That is US$30 per hour before expenses and taxes. These are illustrative assumptions, not reported ShowGo rates.

For a volunteer open house, weigh the opportunity against the time commitment and clarify who may follow up with visitors. Do not count on future business or assume that hosting gives you unrestricted use of attendees’ contact details.

What do agreements and payment cover?

In its launch release, eXp describes posting, claiming, agreements and payment in one place, with payments routed through the brokerage. Its compliance assurances remain company claims and do not establish regulatory approval. The announcement also does not demonstrate faster service.

As of October 12, 2026, the release supplies no cancellation rules, payout timetable, platform-charge schedule, coverage guarantee or agreement text. Public research for this article did not locate applicable instructions resolving those gaps.

Before committing, obtain the applicable terms and check:

  • What makes a claim a confirmed assignment, and when the agreement becomes binding.
  • What happens if either agent cancels, the client does not attend, or the appointment runs late.
  • What triggers payment, when it arrives, and whether deductions or additional charges apply.

Keep a copy of the accepted scope and compensation. Do not interpret an undisclosed charge as a zero charge.

Clarify the client handoff before accepting

Make the handoff part of your agent operations and client service process. Specify the client’s instructions, property access arrangements, expected feedback and the person responsible for follow-up.

Define the covering agent’s role, including which questions they should answer and which decisions they should refer to the primary agent. Ask your managing broker to confirm the representation responsibilities and any required client consent or documentation for that jurisdiction and assignment. Review the platform agreement rather than assuming it resolves those questions.

Before relying on ShowGo for coverage, compare its applicable terms with your existing brokerage-approved arrangement. Evaluate total cost, assignment confirmation, payment terms and the client handoff—the same measures you can use to assess other real estate platforms and tools.
